Privacy policy

The service

FrogsWork Invoicing is online software. You use it in the browser, as a phone PWA, or through the Windows desktop app. Those clients talk to the FrogsWork account API at api.frogswork.com.

Account and billing

When you register, we store your email and a hashed password. Stripe handles subscription billing. We link your account to a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Invoice and business data

With an active subscription, invoice and quote records (business details, customers, invoice/quote JSON) are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database, scoped to your account. PDFs are stored in our Cloudflare R2 bucket. Email sending uses Resend through our API (invoice/quote sends, optional payment follow-up reminders when you enable them, and account emails such as verify/reset). Optional quotes and price estimates are stored the same way when you enable Quotes in the app.

Data is protected by HTTPS in transit and account access controls. Clients may keep a local cache (for example IndexedDB in the browser, or WebView2 storage in the desktop app) to work when briefly offline.

Desktop app

The Windows installer is a thin shell around the same app. It may keep window size, update state, and an install identifier under %APPDATA%\FrogsWork\. It does not replace your account storage for invoices.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on frogswork.com (marketing) and in the app to understand aggregate usage: which pages are viewed, which signup steps convert, and which app screens are used. Events do not include invoice content, customer names, emails, or ABNs.

Separately, the FrogsWork API stores privacy-friendly product aggregates for our own metrics (for example average invoices per account, due-date rule mix, logo adoption, and device counts). Device registration uses an opaque local identifier hashed on our servers — not advertising IDs.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use third-party advertising or remarketing trackers.
• We do not send invoice or customer document contents to Google Analytics.

Updates and downloads

Clients contact api.frogswork.com for sign-in, entitlements, documents, and email. Installers download from downloads.frogswork.com over HTTPS.

Retention and rights

We keep account and document data while your account is active and as needed for billing and legal obligations.

If your subscription ends (after any remaining paid or trial period), your login remains and we keep your account data for 30 days in case you resubscribe. After that we permanently delete your businesses, customers, invoices, quotes, and PDFs. You can delete your data sooner from the app. Deleting your account erases everything immediately.

In the app under Settings → Account you can:

• Download my data — a ZIP of your account data grouped by type and status (invoices, quotes, businesses, customers) plus PDFs for your own records (FrogsWork cannot restore an export into your account).
• Tax time export — a separate ZIP for your accountant: income ledger CSV and matching tax invoice PDFs for a chosen Australian financial year.
• Delete all my data — permanently erase your businesses, customers, invoices, quotes, and PDFs while keeping your login and subscription.
• Delete account — cancel billing and permanently erase your account and data.
• Manage subscription — cancel or change plan in Stripe’s Customer Portal.

Data deletion from your FrogsWork account is permanent and cannot be restored. For help with these controls, contact FrogsWork support.
