How to turn quotes into invoices
Some jobs need a price before the work starts. FrogsWork keeps quotes optional so the app stays simple until you need them.
Why quotes matter
Many Australian sole traders (especially gardeners, transport operators, and handymen) give a price estimate before starting a job. FrogsWork lets you send a clean quote PDF, then convert it to a tax invoice when the customer accepts.
Turn Quotes on
In the app, open Settings → General and enable Quotes. A Quotes tab appears between Home and Invoices.
Send the quote
Create a quote or price estimate, then email the PDF. Quote emails do not include how-to-pay details. They are for pricing only.
Convert when accepted
Open the sent quote and choose Create invoice. Review totals, then send the tax invoice with payment reference and bank details if you use them.
Reminders
FrogsWork does not send automated quote reminder emails. Use days-since-sent on your Quotes list to chase yourself.
Problems FrogsWork helps you avoid
- Quotes stay hidden if you never turn them on. Enable Quotes in Settings → General when you need them.
- People often put payment details on quotes. FrogsWork keeps quotes for pricing only.
- Changing GST after a quote is out can confuse totals. Set GST on your business profile before you send.
